Thanks clicked on as I love all music especially old ones . My grandma was born in 1897 and lived till she was 97 so i was used to music hall songs . I lost my mum six years ago aged 87 and she taught us lots of songs from years gone by . I am now teaching as many as I can to my four year old grandaughter . She sings daisie daisie . It just makes me laugh . It will be said if all these songs got forgotten they are part of our past

Hello Michael. Thank you for your kind words - I too love Music Hall. I should have appeared in 'The Good Old Days' at the CIty Varieties in Leeds earlier this year, but fingers crossed, it will happen next year. Stay safe and well, and all best wishes to you.

Could be straight out of The Good Old Days, Roy Hud and Bernard Cribbins did good turns of these songs....even Larry Grason did one of the best songs ever When The Lights Went Out....

I wonder if you can help me? My mum used to sing a song, called (I think) "In Other Words". I can remember some of the lyrics..... " He'd partaken of thoracic lubrication, with ambrosial nectar he was somewhat lined, I regret to say he was non compos mentis, or in other words, he was blind!". But I can't find the song anywhere..... I'd be grateful if you could please help? Many thanks!
