It's "Tinkerbell goes to the ball" rather than every day Tinkerbell. Besides, all the other princess characters had grand gowns for their respective balls, so... why not Tinks? And it makes sense that Tinks would leave a trail of fairy dust everywhere she goes, she's a fairy after all. I do LOVE the outfit (especially the shoes!) is just gorgeous!

if you are ever trying to get your dress on over your head; here is a little trick from the early sixties and the era of the bouffant hair style. get a large square silk scarf. do not fold it. put it over your head so that your head is completely covered and tie it on. put dress on and take scarf off. the silk will let anything slip passed it and your hair remains perfect.
