Very useful video! Appreciate your honesty about the pros and cons of choosing the sliding bracelet. I’m a firm fan of the Pandora bangle but it’s terrific, as you say, that the slider is one size fits all and flexible in design. Also, the slider looks strong if attached properly, although the proof is in wearing it long enough to know if it holds up well. Your point about being mindful of what you wear with it and where you wear it, as it can catch on things, is a salient item for buyers to keep in mind. I just got my slider bracelet in the mail today. While I totally am dreading the issue of slider thing getting loose over time, the reason I bought this style over the others was due to the ease of getting it on/off by myself. I did see a video where she gave the tip of of putting a Pandora clip charm over one of their black rubber pieces and it kept the bracelet slider from moving during the day.

Catching up and this video is awesome! Very well explained and reviewed. The filming is incredible - you captured all the small details so well!!! I also have the traditional slider, the star slider and a leather one, plus the delicate Sparkling Strand version. I really love them because of the versatility and they are perfect for smaller designs. The dangle part is so feminine and sweet; I love that feature. I have weak nails so I do struggle to get the notch open sometimes but you're right, it puts much less stress on the bracelet to do it in that manner. I love the concept of sliding bracelets and I’ve had a few in the past (not Pandora) and although I loved how easy they are to put on, I didn’t love how much length I had on the tail. The excess pooled in my palm and I found it distracting and it caught on things during the day. I do love that they are one size fits all. I bought one for my mom and she loves hers.

The extra length does catch onto things and even when washing your hands, it can sometime dangle in!!! That is such a great point! So happy your mom loves her, they are so pretty! I find I gravitate towards wearing mine for special occasions or dinners out the most!

Thanks for the great review Emilie!!! You gave some great tips! I just worry about the dangle part getting caught or hung up on something. Wished that Pandora made one in a smaller size and I’ve only worn mine a couple of times. But I do like the look of this bracelet.

Wonderful tips on wearing the Sliding bracelet Emily! 😍 I have the pink cz and clear cz Sliding bracelets! I love both of them! Now that I have seen your tips I may buy the Sliding bracelet I can add charms too! I was afraid before, I heard the hanging silver strings would get looser over time and would continually slide down. But your tip on how to put the bracelet on and off fixes that problem!

I haven't had anything sad or wear down on my bracelets yet, thankfully! I have had my tan sliding bracelet the longest (about two summers ago) and so far, so good! xo

Just got this and thought it was very pretty but extremely dainty. But the sales assistant just told me to pull the slider up to tighten, and hold the drawstring with one finger while using another hand to tighten it. Your video confirms what my thoughts are. I try not to use the drawstrings but it's really hard to just do it at the catch point. So I think for this style, I will just put at maximum 3 charms. Would be glad to hear any other better ways to put on this bracelet. It's a really unique piece. I had hope there were magnets on the catch points. Maybe they figured that wasn't strong enough so they chose a mechanical catch to do it.

Nice video Emily, tfs 🤗💝I love my star clasp slider, I know of everything you mentioned except you showed me now I can put it on and off by myself! I used the “hubby system” until now! 😋But he’s not as gentle with the bracelet and so the save myself the stress of watching him fiddle with the tiny lever, I will start practicing in this lockdown period to put it on and take it off like you showed! ☺️ But yes I also heard the safest way to put it on and take it off is opening the bracelet and not using the slider. fashionstoryteller Honestly some days are harder than others. Both my hubby and I are super blessed to be able to work remotely from home. Work keeps my mind busy. My heart breaks for the people who lost their jobs or have no income, all the small businesses. I miss my retail therapy, browsing the new Pandora releases, hunting the 2020 anni charms, going to my favorite local Pandora store looking at all the trays, trying to find some overlooked treasures, talking with the nice and informative sales ladies. All of that just abruptly stopped. No online shopping is allowed except for essentials like food and meds, no deliveries. Our Pandora e-store never got the mothersday collection or 2020 heart charm. I got the 1st three 2020 charms and now it’s over. Our e-store is only selling old stock and once it’s out of stock there’s no telling when there will be more. I put in one order but they will only deliver once lockdown lifts and we have no idea when that will be. Our president announced a risk adjusted strategy to phase back into the economy. There’s 5 levels, lockdown being level 5. Depending on the infections and fatality rates each province will be allocated its own level. Then businesses are categorized in each level that will be allowed to operate. This is brand new territory for everyone, lots of uncertainty, and if I’m quiet online in the jewelry community it’s just because some days are harder than others to feel that loss of my love for all things jewelry as we’ve been cut off so abruptly. Otherwise we are healthy, has a roof over our heads and food on the table, very blessed. Hope you are doing well too 🤗💝🌸xo

I have two of this style bracelet & have them both in Size 1. Now after viewing this figure was curious to see why you mention there is only one size fits all. After looking at the Pandora Website, your right! They’re all offered only in that one size. This is so odd! When it first released it did have 3 size option. I wonder at what point Pandora stopped offer size option. Or why they stopped offering size option. It’s a shame! I too have a small wrist and the current that dangle is perfect for me. It is we’re larger I don’t know how I would feel about it.

Ooo, I never knew they came in different sizes! If you don't mind me asking, what country are you located in? I'm in Canada. When I bought my tan bracelet (about 2 summers ago), they told me they only had one size option! Maybe that was just for their leather sliding bracelet options. I got my silver sliding bracelet back last spring and it was one size option, at that point! I think that's so awesome Pandora had three size options before. It is so great to get the perfect fit! I'm in USA. The leather ones look very nice. I think I purchased the regular snakechain type one also about two summers ago. I went the week released. I truely hope they sizing options come back. You're welcome! :)

Hi can i ask you I've recently purchased a snake chain moments bracelet without the clip sections. I'm not sure if my bracelet is faulty as I've noticed 1 side is still very tight but the other is getting loose and looks like it has a bend in it, not sure if the bracelet is just getting loose I've not worn it much only a couple times with a clip on one end and two other charms? Is this normal? Thanks

Damn… 😂 I definitely messed up on buying my mom one of the snap shut clasp bracelets. I was having a hard time opening it up myself. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I should’ve gone with one of these instead. It’s much easier. It’s got a 30 day return. 😂 I might just go back tomorrow and return it for this one. Oh yeah and I definitely need to buy her one of those stoppers too. The charms went flying everywhere once I finally opened up the clasp.

I personally would recommend the Pandora Open Bangle! There is no clasp needed to open or close to put on your wrist. It gently slides on 💕💕 hope this helps!

Hi Emily, this video was great. You haven't swayed me either way. I don't have one. The biggest reason is like you my wrist isn't very big and I can just see those dangles getting in the way going to the toilet, washing hands etc. I think if I had a larger wrist I'd be more tempted. Take care.

Hello! I have the tan leather sliding bracelet that I bought last summer for 50% off. Unfortunately, I’m not a fan 😐 I don’t like the way the bracelet sits on my wrist with or without charms. I find it twists around and the strands popping out sideways on my wrist looks weird. I also don’t like how the strands pop out, I’m always aware of them and worry I’ll catch them. I’m glad I tried it, but it’s not for me. I enjoyed your video, stay well!

I have a black Pandora sliding bracelet! I was riding my bike the other day with mine and all of a sudden all of my charms went flying off and I was soo sad because I found all of them but my Wonderful love charm which is from my grandma and it was my favorite and it’s 75$! But then after 20 minutes of searching in a random persons yard I found it 😂 Oh, and another thing is I have the tiniest wrist and it is as small as it gets so there is soo much dangle 😆

I use the new Pandora cleaning kit! It’s wonderful! If you don’t have it available in your area, I recommend Dawn dish soap, Luke warm water and a soft bristled tooth brush. Gently soak your bracelet for a few minutes, gently scrub with tooth brush. Towel dry. Lay flat to dry. After that, use the Pandora cleaning cloth to polish!
