This is totally random, but I went to Petco a little while ago to get some more bedding when I saw a girl and her family purchasing a syrian hamster. The store employee was recommending the tiny tales cage because of its “large size” and that it “is the perfect hamster cage”. I had to do something, I went over to the girl, told her that the cage was going to be way to small and a 40 gallon tank would be better and recommend this channel to her. When I was leaving I saw them at the cash register purchasing the tiny tales cage, I just hope that she looked up this channel, for her hamsters sake.

I’ve been watching your Chanel since 2019, you’ve helped me improve my care so much. My first hamster was in a pets at home cage with 4 inches of bedding and a 6 inch wheel with little enrichment and a bad diet. I now have an enclosure with over 1,100 sq inches of floor space and 10+ inches of bedding, an amazing diet and loads of enrichment, thank you!

So much to unpack in this video! 😱 Sadie fighting with the sunflower stalk definitely deserved the "Katana wins! Flawless victory!" Sound. 🤣 I really thought that your scissors were gonna break while you were cutting the stalk. 😲 The stalk was as big as Waddles! 🤣 I thought he was gonna poke his head out and drag it under the bridge with him 🤣 Dipper was the least problem child out of the three today! 🥰 Dipper eating the sunflower stalk 🥺 Cleo hiding in Lola's fur because she got in trouble will never not be funny to me! 😭🤚🏻 Sadie sitting in that pose on the bed like the Queen she is 😼👑 JJ is the quiet child of the family... I’ve been watching your channel for about 3 years and it’s been such a joy to see your hamster cages become better and better each time. I'm totally in love with your little love bugs, but my absolute favourite is Waddles, I have a chinese hammy too. I just love how active and funny they are. Mine (Rudi) is very shy but he is absolutely adorable. He is white/grey colour.

I found this channel about a year ago because I wanted a hamster. I am now the proud parent to two hammies, but at the same time I also discovered I have a passion for putting together natural enclosures and scenery. I haven't really worked out how to turn it into a hobby yet, but I want to put together natural hamster enclosures as a hobby now. It's REALLY hard to find huge hamster cages in my country, so want to learn DIY. :)

The halfway tunnel inspired me so I made one for my hammy out of a really thick cardboard choob and prayed she wouldn't pee in it anyways long story short she loved it and... pees in it so I have to replace it every few days before it gets too soaked 🤣

@Victoria Rachel, this is a lil random as well but... I bought a Syrian Hamster back on July 30 when it was 2 months old and in the beginning he let me hold him for a minute here and there but now every time I go by his cage when he's out, he'll run in to his wheel and start running. I'll back up far enough for him not to see me and after a few, he'll stop and start walking around again and as soon as I go by him again.... He runs right back to it's wheel and start running again. No matter what time or day, it's the same. Very annoying. He's in a custom 2 story cage I made.

Kind of a random question but my hamster keeps licking the sides of the cage(aka silicone) should i be concerned? Cause some silicones are toxic, or is he doing it cause he us hungry?

Licking cured silicone won't do anything to them :) I'm not quite sure what causes some hamsters to lick the enclosure.
