Thanks for the video. I have one of these I got for Christmas in the 90’s. I hadn’t seen it in 20 years and just found it in a box. I vaguely remembered it was an electrician but it wasn’t until I saw your video that I could confirm the model. Makes sense because my parents used to get stocking stuffers at Radio Shack back then. Mine is in the same condition as yours and is a perfect size.

I've got one of these, and I'm afraid to carry it because it's irreplaceable. Victorinox should definitely bring this one back.

I wish Victorinox did more 1 layer knives. Just a knife blade and then multiple options for a secondary tool like a file, flat head, awl, etc.

That would be cool!

Did you know Victorinox also manufactured another special unique 91mm model for Radio Shack’s Techline of tools. Leatherman also got in on the act with a special Radio Shack model with wire stripper jaws “SQUIRT E4”

That's cool. I bet the one with the Raido Shak logo is pricy and herd to find, good luck with that.

got a late 80's black Huntsman on Ebay this week for $13 that is in very good shape and a early hardwood Huntsman for $25 that has the scale tools in the scales. Probably will clean up the black Huntsman and sell it off for $40-ish. I just wanted to get a beater Huntsman for camping and the walnut Huntsman will be fine. I wouldn't have bought it but being it's the old style with scale tools and only $25,it was too cheap to pass up. i would never carry a Huntsman regularly because they are too thick. It's a camp knife only.

Man, you leave the best comments! Appreciate you! Agree about picking that older one up and that it's a tad thick

the old cross Alox 93mm Electrician's are the best of the Electrician's and especially the pre mid 80's ones with brass liner. I had 3 of them and recently sold off 2 of them and kept the late 70's one that was mint new in box . Got an early 80's Alox Cadet mint unused this week with the small pen blade instead of the nail file. It's a little heavier than the newer ones but I still don't like 84mm stuff in hand and especially the Cadet or Bantam in Alox because they are too thin and feel awkward in hand. I wanted to give this a try because I like the old Cadet ribbed Alox but this knife does nothing for me and generally Cadet's never have. I am probably going to sell this off soon. I don't get the hype around Cadet's. 84mm Alox stuff is not remotely in the league of 93mm stuff. They just feel kind of cheap when you compare them to the 93mm knives side by side. To me old Alox Soldier's and old pre mid 80's Electrician's are the best of the Alox knives. This old Cadet looks good but that is all I can say about it. You need to get a 92 Soldier and see what i mean about build quality and heavier duty with much more snap and stronger pulls

I've got an old cross red Alox coming with brass liner 👀 can't wait to get it!!!

@@SlipjointSawyer is it a Pioneer ? Electrician's only came in silver except for special order Bugnard that were yellow. I just sold off my 81 Alox Soldier today. I didn't need 3 Soldier's
