Bought these for my daughter and step-daughter about 15 years ago and they absolutely loved them. You've just reminded me to by myself one.....indispensable. A Swiss Army fanboy.

Never really considered the Victorinox cards, i just prefer their traditional form SAK's. Having said that one of these and a Pioneer or a Recruit would be a perfect EDC for me. I could even dump that dangerous illegal blade ;-) because of the better blades on the others. definitely worth thinking about. But i would have no problem carrying that knife in the card, i mean come on really that's a fixed illegal blade 🙃 i think 99% of people would see it as not. Any normal sensible person wouldn't have a problem. I love the- TheDervMan's idea of a phone case version that would be so perfect 👌 Great view 👍

@@markcavanagh73 to be honest I’ve had a basic one for years but as part of my ongoing SAK and EDC Saturday videos I’ve bought a few (well a lot 😂) of gear to review and test out, so this seemed a good opportunity to upgrade, review and point out the ridiculous nature of our knife laws.. as said in video could you really see the carrying of this getting you put in front of a judge and jury..although the way things are maybe so?? Mine is going to be used as part of a micro EDC back up pouch that will sit in my Kriega Trail9 backpack, which itself would carry everything I need to be able to walk away from bike in an emergency situation when long term travelling.. Agree about the Pioneer or in my mind the modified Sportsman that I’ve got would work well.. I’m going to look at modifying the card blade into a nail file, just for the fun you understand 😂

these are very well made and designed, that's for sure, but i personally don't carry a wallet anymore, i have a shieldon leather phone case for my iphone mini that has 3 pockets for credit cards, driving licence etc, and a large pocket behind where i can put some cash just in case, and i also have an 18 in one wallet ninja multitool, which is actual credit card sized (and pretty much thickness).and at just a couple of quid on ebay great value. it's not as elegant as the card here, but i have a better magnifier on my phone already for one, victorinox do several mini SAK's that you can attach to a keyring with scissors etc, so this would be just another thing to have rattling around in your pockets to lose, so while it's a nice product, it's not for me personally, GL and thanks for the review

@@Bob-ts2tu Although I showed how it fit I personally won’t be using it in my tiny wallet but it will go into a micro EDC pouch I’m putting together with some other bits and that will go into my kriega Trail9 backpack which in effect will be the walk away/bug out bag set up for travelling.. some good cheap kit out there and it’s proving good fun looking!

in the UK it's probably better off to carry the Nailcare Swisscard that has a nailfile instead of a knife blade.

I carried the red one in my wallet for 15 years but eventually i got rid of it because it was an illegal carry unless i removed the blade

@@alantheloneranger really absurd restriction for something like this, Victorinox should do an aftermarket nail file that would fit… might just drop them a line 😀
