@@120diy -- it's very iittle to get a new blade, could restore and make it an heirloom.

I would have loved to see how you did the peening because I want to make a similar mod with exposed rivets. Did you countersink the holes in the wood to make space for the rivet heads? Did you hammer them flat or did you make round heads and sand them down? Also what kind of hammer did you use?

It seems to me that I used a simple hammer to flatten the rods and then I sanded with sandpaper so that it was welded to the wooden plates. The next one will be with the rivets because it's tighter. Enjoy!

@@Comment0815 I think that reusing the original rivets when they are not too damaged after disassembly is better because all the pads and tensioners are better tightened over time.. if no rivets on hand I will do it again as on the video, hammering the rods with a hammer then sanding...Enjoy!

Pour les tiges met du 2,2mm pour les 2 du milieu et 2,5mm pour les 2 extrémités 👍

Bonjour, oui les rivets tiennent plutôt bien mais les trous dans les plaques de cuivre ont de très légers décalages ce qui fait que les tiges ne sont pas parfaitement droites et du coup ça force un peu mais ça tient et ça fonctionne ;)
