Rmember that groove in the corkscrew. It made the wine bottle a bit easier to open, since it let a tiny bit air in as one pulled the cork, since one did not create so much underpreassure in the bottle.

A lovely collection piece that. And I agree, the tin opener works pretty well and is very useful if a ring pull snaps. As I've found out a fair few times, it can save a lot of bad language. 🤣

I have been fortunate to buy 2 Tourists new in box over the last 2 years - 1 keep new in its box and the other is an occasional EDC knife as an alternative to the Sportsman. I bought both from a French eBay shop PrixCanon and I just looked again on eBay and they still have them in stock.
