The peroxide needs to be food grade. I use distilled vinegar it kills bacteria too. You can use it in a water bath to wash veggies and fruits instead of the commercial veggie wash. Don't you need to soak the seeds?

I've heard anywhere from 1/2 teaspoon to 2 Tablespoons per tray. What do you recommend max amt of seeds per tray?

I use about about a tablespoon depending on the size of the seeds. The tiny seeds if you don't soak them first they get stuck in the small holes on the edge. Still learning here.
