Unfortunately this Oregon loss probably means the end of Utah's playoff chances. Either Oregon or Utah needed the pop off of beating a top 10 team in the PAC-12 championship to jump up a couple of slots into the top 4. With Oregon now set to drop I don't think that leaves enough to get it done.

Why criticize the RBs when the D gave up 31 and the QB threw 2 picks in the 4th quarter? I watched the whole game and I thought the RBs looked pretty good for Oregon

@@FoxHuntJuJu Well I did call verdell a stud. So i wasn't criticizing. Simply said sometimes you don't have to seek head on collisions. Dye is a perfect example of what I was stating. he picked many yards by avoiding head on collisions. Oregon didn't lose the game cause of the runningback's performance. At the same time you can see how many slant passes ASU had to their runningbacks/wide receivers and how many yards they picked up in space by avoiding head on collisions. Its just an observation. The defense did give up 31 points but at the same time got to hang your hats off for how long they were out in the field for and how they stopped and forced field goals on some possessions. If anyone has more of the blame I would bring of the offensive coordinator. I think oregon would have been better served by throwing more slant passes, letting their athletes do most of the work. They did that towards the end of the game. It was simply too late.

Problem 1: Oregon needs a new OC. 17 yards in the second quarter and barely more than that in the 3rd? Stop calling 3 plays. Problem 2: Oregon doesn't have the running backs to play the offense they're trying to run. The backs are either too small to run that way, not shifty enough, or don't have that explosive burst of past Duck running backs. Habbibi-Lekio is probably a better option if they're gonna keep pounding up the middle. Problem 3: Oregon's D was terrible at tackling last night. ALOT of yards gained from missed tackles. Problem 4: Defensive backs got fried by some great WR's. ASU's QB ain't nothing. Dink, dunk all night long. He never threw any special passes. If problems 3 and 4 don't happen last night the dude finishes with atleast under 200 yards, probably less than 150. ASU is probably hanging their hat on this victory as momentum for next year but when those WR's are gone next year they'll have another typical ASU season with a weak QB. BUT...no denying the simple fact that the Ducks just straight up sh** the bed in this game. 81 yard TD when you have a team with at freshman QB in 3rd and 16 with a chance to get the ball back with plenty of time down by 3?? Where was the over the top safety help?? Straight sh** the bed

I flipped to this one in the 4th quarter when I came across the score on ESPN. Oregon was rallying and it looked like ASU was deflating. Oregon pulled within 3 and ASU was moving backwards. I figured it was over and then out of nowhere that 85 yard touchdown throw comes. This one was definitely an exciting finish!

I’m totally cool with a PAC-12 championship with a Rose Bowl appearance. As an Oregon fan, our offense and our coaches cost us the game. When we found success running the ball, we went straight back to passing and got nothing. Mario Cristobals arrogance cost him this game. Justin Herbert was playing like he was half asleep. We had no rhythm on offense till the 4th quarter just like last year on the road and it costed us. Our defense gave up huge plays but we got it together eventually. Our defense is good not elite like ESPN and what not is saying. Our inconsistency on offense showed tonight. I like Mario Cristobal as a coach but the offensive scheme he runs isn’t good and it needs to change. Thank you ASU for exposing our asses for how lucky we’ve been this season. You guys had a lot of penalties and still managed to overcome them. Jayden Daniels is a beast and I can’t wait to see him play next year. He’s gonna be one of the greatest quarterbacks to go to ASU

if you follow oregan all season long the OC was struggling with play calling and many of the wins were close games. It was expected when a team with a good defense played Oregon ,we always struggle.If you look at the full game you will the weak play calling . The highlights makes the Oregon look like a great team .The players on offense and defense are great bunch of talented players .It sad the coaching fell short.I didn't expect them to make it the final four. Well, all I have to say is Herbert was the presumed #2 pick last year if he had entered the draft. Right now he is a first-round pick but I'm not sure anyone in the top 10 will take him. Burrow, Tua, and it's up in the air between Eason and Herbert when factoring in just how good Oregon's skill positions are. He may have cost himself almost 20 million dollars by deciding to go back to school.
