Jsu’s victory lap is simply a call out tbh. Alcorns is a full arrangement. Jsu’s version is cleaner, but alcorns version is funky af and overall i can hear EVERY section from them. Imo it depends on your preference, and i like that funky shit, so i think alcorns is better.

Alcorn took the time to arrange the song and not just a lil excerpt like everyone else. For me the “wow” factor was the cleanliness/balance of the arrangement and then the tubas to bring it home at the end. Also, I never discredited JSU sound.
