JSU use to be original as well but she Alcorn went through years of transitions due to recruitment if you go back to the old vaults you’ll see who stole who’s style lol but funny you mention Southern and JSU because unlike JSU Alcorn has band directors that taught at SU and JSU but also attended Alcorn for undergrad ! At least they came back to where they once marched! If Alcorn were to change and be the loudest in the swac or the biggest y’all would be saying Alcorn tryna be like SU, Dega of FAMU of some shit.. it’s cool to be a die hard fan of your school but its easy to say what a school needs to do if you ain’t doing it or helping to do it!

@@SnapShawwtyTv All of the Boom's staff marched at JSU. Didn't Griff come from JSU? Was Alcorn looking to bring back Murray before he spent time at JSU? Anyone who can't see the JSU influence on Alcorn is seeing what they want to see. The Boom's staff has always been mostly JSU people though we have given a handful of people from other schools a chance to be on staff. This is not Alcorn's style from back in the day. You can go to the Hauton, Taylor, and Liddell eras at JSU, and this was not the Alcorn they were battling. And I've never seen a school and their fans cry so much that they're not treated like the home band when they go into some else's stadium. They want to be the Boom so bad they cry when they can't take the ramp

Read what you just wrote and ask yourself if it makes since. music charms the souls and is the greatest of the arts where does that come from band head? Its assanine to think that one song belongs to a band however, certain songs come to remind you of a specific band and maybe the confusion lies in actually having band experience from those who don't, your previous comment makes it seem as if alcorn took or played torture after the fact in other words after SU.
