Victory Motorcycle performance 2-1 and factory exhaust header discussion

I've been watching your videos and I love your content and the work that you put into it. It is gratefully appreciated keep up the good work. I just purchased a 2016 magnum win magnum with only 85 miles on it it it has the stock victory performance tri Pipes. I just purchased timing gear and air Box from lloyds. I have not had the time to install them yet yet I only have 1500 miles on the bike now but I love the sound of the Tri ovals.

Congrats on the new bike. When planning your performance upgrades keep in mind that a general rule is you can do an exhaust upgrade or an intake upgrade with out a tuning device. However if you do both than it needs a tuner. So based on your tri-ovals and purchased air filter from Lloydz then a tuner would optimize you combination. I would recommend a Maximus, in that case you would not need the timing wheel. You could also go with a Power Commander as an alternative tuner.

I know that with Japanese 4 cylinder 4-strokes, 4 into 1 exausts were the pinnacle of racing exhaust systems.. but for V-twins is there a similar hard and fast rule?? (2-1-2/2-1/2-2)?? Edit: where is the stock exhaust numbers? Or am i just blind? (I'm as old as dirt and the eyesight is slipping)
