God's judgement is swift and perfect. Sometimes we do things and we think we're not being judged, that our life is going well. But we don't see how God is working behind the scenes, judging us and changing our lives moment to moment based on what we do. Rewarding or punishing us. This is why you can't always trust pleasure, because it can feel good in the moment, but damage us long term if we aren't prudent. It's so true. We don't see that we are missing out on something far greater because we have become blinded by our desires.

Way out in left field mixing too many topics. The subject is lust, a feeling Our Creator placed in man so he could get an erection, have sex, and procreate. Others animals have different methods. For example, dogs go into heat. This makes dogs want to have sex, so that they can procreate. Our Creator imparts on us many of His characteristics for a reason. People can get angry and feel hated, want to revenge inside them. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, felt anger at the money changers, hated the things Satan was doing, told us, He will take revenge. These may be less pleasant things to think about God, but they are there. They are useful to a point. Lust misused is a bad thing. Even Fulton Sheen points out eating too much is gluttony, a bad thing. Though basic eating of food to sustain the body is a good thing. The subject of lust is not well taught in school. A man loves his wife and children. The man can use lust to become intimate with his wife and they feel closer. But, a man is not allowed to feel lust for his daughter, nor act upon it. It is forbidden in the Laws of Moses.
