Fully surrendering to Christ means letting go of our old selves, being reborn with Christ as a new creation, and having our lives hidden in Christ within God-our past sinful lives are redeemed on the cross.
Not only are we forgiven, but we also have been cut off from the power of sin. The lives we now live, we live for God.
