Very cool figures buddy. Amazing hand painted shields. I know all about the fitting of figures due to charging or advancing naps. You need to place them like puzzle pieces to avoid bayonets sticking into figures in front and bases in front. I have to use numbers on the bases to remind me of the way they go together.
@jvcpaints2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Anthony. The puzzle game on 40x40 isn't one I enjoy playing too much. Once I get them on their bases, there is the transport issue.

O waw, i tought those shields are transfers, very nice work on these, a lot of patience on those clothes check s, they turn out great. Struggling with those lines on shields myself, but victrix has crisp sculpts.Bases look dope, but you struggle too much if you cover 75% with grass anyway. I like that dry tufts that looks like grain, need those! Very cool channel recommendation, funny. Cheers.
@jvcpaints2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Lucian. The static grass is mandatory for me now because I'm running out of tufts and the exchange rate of Yen to....all currencies...except maybe to like Uzbekistan or Angola...is tanking, so ordering anything from anywhere is not an option this year. Luckily, My stash should hold for at least 2 years. So I'm good.

@@jvcpaints I hope it's not that bad over there I did hear about Japan selling US bonds. I'm invested in Honda, Kawasaki, komatsu, and one day I'll have a bunch of Toyota stock.
@jvcpaints2 жыл бұрын
@@holydiver539 Everything is normal, but my nest egg has lost a good 40% because of the insane exchange rate. Prices haven't shot up like in the US at all. Gas is about 160 yen/liter which is about $4.40 US/Gal. My bank stocks are taking a huge hit at the moment here. I think the Bank of Japan is using their US cash to buy back yen and then they'll do some sneaky shit and get exports back up and then move back to parity with the USD over the next decade. OR it's WW3: The Apocalypse War and they'll be trading in their shirts and ties for khaki fatigues and suddenly the airsoft industry is going to be making some really righteous small arms. Either way, I should have followed my old man's advice about not getting old cuz it sucks big time. lol
@holydiver5392 жыл бұрын
@@jvcpaints Japan can also rely on its cultural exports as long as they keep westerners out of that industry. Kamatsu, Honda, Toyota, and Kawasaki aren't going anywhere...but they're going to have to re-employ the japanese not China. Hopefully Japan can find a way to reinvigorate it's your merchant fleet fleet and ship repair businesses. Which is something the uk itself can no longer do. Another problem with Japan is I'm told no one lives in the country leaving very few for agricultural sector jobs.
@jvcpaints2 жыл бұрын
@@holydiver539 Lots of people live in the country, but they are all old. I live in the country and it's awesome, a million times better than the city, but like 50% of the town are over 65. The farmers are all pretty old too. The rice farmers are part time mostly and they're middle aged. Getting work in agriculture here is pretty easy, doing the job though...if you like hot and bugs, it's OK.
