nice paint jobs , The Gauls with the swept back hair used lime wash to hold in place needs a bit of white on the hair

Hey that's a great point. I didn't even think about their hair products whitening their hair! I hadn't read that quote from Diodorus Siculus. I'll have to keep that in mind next time I do some Gauls

Carthage had such a magnificent naval fleet are their any chances to feature a ship on ship battle with a ships outline put on paper with the correct marines and heavy weapon some ships had. The history of this period is interesting and a decent book on the period. Good luck for the future painting even if they dont fight a battle for a while long or short !

Thank you. Currently I am focusing on creating the land armies of the period, no grand plan but I'll see where it takes me

How’d you do those shields? They look awesome
@busydad_painting6 ай бұрын
Thanks, they are shield transfers from Little Big Men Studio, you can order them on the Victrix website. They can really pull a unit together.

What paint do you use for veterans' helmets?
@busydad_painting5 ай бұрын
I used Pro Acryl's Bronze metallic color directly on these helmets, though in the full unit which I'll show soon sometimes I mixed in iron helmets with a Silver and Dark Silver mix from Pro Acryl.
