Good starter video. Venus OS/ Node red are very powerfull tools to take ultimate control of your Victron ESS. I run my systems all of node red, ac coupled and in external control. With flexiable tarrif, Solar forcasting and exporting at peak times for grid response. Not sure if any other manufacturers let you have this much control over your system. Looking forward to part 2 :)

hi sir I just purchased a Victron multi-plus ii and im building a 48v battery so I'm not even running a system yet , I just stumbled on to your site and being totally new to this technology it should be interesting to follow along and learn. thank you for sharing

Great to hear! Let me know if you have a specific use case which might be interesting for the channel viewers as well to work on :-)

That makes 2 of us. You are in front of me, I am awaiting arrival of my batteries/case but I have my Victron MPii, Cerbo GX and shunt ready to deploy. Quite nervous about having the necessary skills to interrogate Octopus Agile, couple with my PV output, link to weather and trigger charge periods. One bite at a time.

Hi, great video ! I´d like to see next part very soon. I am interested how to build control node, how to set desired inverter power. Manually controlled and scheduled inverter would be very interesting and learning example.

Hi Tobi, Great Video, It would be great to see which palette to import to control the RPI GPIO Pins, how to import it and then to create a flow to turn on and off the relay board using the RPI pins shown in a previous video.

Tobi thanks for the video. Top notch! I need a Dupa. Do you have a link?

3:30 & so it looks like a show sropper for me. Why can't we use ethernet network in our house to connect those brucks together? Or at least something lile ZigBee network. My RP Pi server is at the other side of the house, far away from Victrons:( if there is Cerbo GX in the system all should be fine using Cerbo-to-nodered.

Howto incorporate Victron Orion-Tr Smart into node red? It’s only Bluetooth…
@tobisreallifeskillswithtobi9 ай бұрын
I still have not found a solution for this... Victron did not share any options to include it as of now at least and I'm not aware of :/

If you’re in Los Angeles, why is your inverter and grid connection both 50Hz yet at 120V?

usless video i would say. at leask could show something usfull. lets say if temp > 40c then turn off charging or somthing.
