I had the same delay when using the Energy Meter. However, after looking at a number of forum posts, I bought a CT clamp to monitor the grid connection. Changing the Grid metering setting to “Inverter/Charger” results in a much quicker return to zero when applying or removing a load (takes about 1 to 3 seconds). I do find that I have my set point between -110W and -150W to avoid pulling from the grid at all. Setpoint seems to change if my Heat Pump or Car Charger is on - suspect the CT wire may be picking up some interference from the nearby loaded cables.

is that setting in cerbo or veconfig? ok - found it, can you point me in the direction of the posts about this setting please. I have an external ess meter as per my other viseos, i have loads upstream of the victron

As per another comment, my multiplus is a lot quicker to respond, but it's only a quick test set up, not installed the energy meter or paralleled 2 units yet, that's coming soon! Did you fill out your G99 form yourself? That's where I am at the moment, it's not the easiest thing to get my head round (form A1-2)

I did it myself with help from my supplier

What energy meter are you using - or not? Mine behaves exactly like this but using the ET113, it’ll take only a few seconds.

@@incognitowarrior i have an ET112, but it's not installed yet, I've just tested my inverter and charged the batteries by plugging it into a socket.

@@incognitowarrior I’m using an et112 over modbus. I’ve found the victron thread about slow response - some talk of newer firmware
