How to set up a Raspberry Pi 4 and then reading ModBus tables from the Raspberry PI and BMV-712 Smart battery monitor. Weblinks at bottom.
I should have mentioned that you want a quality Kingston, Samsung, or SanDisk MicroSD card for this project. I used a cheap card initially but it couldn't handle the heat and died after 24 hours. You also want to take an image of your SD card after you have everything up and running so that you can recover if it crashes.
