Hello, my brother, I have a problem with a 2005 Jeep Cherokee. When it goes at 60, emergency mode appears, the gear sticks at 3, it says check engine, and when the engine is turned off, it returns to D. What is the solution and what is the problem?

I would like to find a way to locate stolem bottles even though I told the local gas supplier they were stolen they still want to charge rent or me pay for them, I thought they should have insurance for such occurances.But this is my first time down this road having something leased that gets stolen

some bottles have a radio tag on them, if they do not care about serial #s just find some lease bottles on market place and return them

you mentioned picking up bottles out of the dump and trading 2 smaller ones for 1 bigger one at the welding supply if I understood, then who owns the 1 large bottle? it still belongs to welding gas supply co and you have to lease it??

Thank you so much! The tire was changed. They didn't put the spare back after fixing it. 👍🏽

I have to believe that some effort to clean up dirt & grime especially around the shower drain would have been helpful.

A very good video, I just got my NLP14 this week and will be cutting out the back of the battery box next. An FYI for your watchers, order the battery Noco factory direct. It is the best way to get the 5 year warranty honored should you need to. With their promo code it was also cheaper than most anywhere else.

Those noco batts are not lithium ion. They are lithium iron phosphate (LiFePo⁴). Be aware of the difference

Just attempted mine. Number 6 sheared off. Number 2 is so tight I don’t want to risk it. I’ve decided to leave them in there and run with four working.

I must have watched this pair of videos about 10 times over the years as I planed to do this job to our '96 Roadtrek. I finally got around to doing it this spring. This video helped a lot, so thanks. The service manual pages were useful since I only have the manual for the pickup and the suspension is different. It was also good encouragement and let me see all of the parts of the job before I got into it. It was a bit harder on our van because we have the 4 ton axle and the parts are hard to find. I had to press the bushings and joints out of our old control arms. The upper control arms with the thread in joints are a real pain. I wasn't able to get them to budge with a wrench and ended up pushing them out with a press and then screwed in new ball joints. Even though this is a big job, it's not that bad. If I were to do it again it would go much more smoothly 🙂

Been around this stuff quite a long time and you are far better to lease bottles, they take care of re-certing them and all maintainence and you are never without a bottle to use as long as you pay the lease.

Depends on your welding supplier and cylinder size. Most "owner size" cylinders are exchanged without problem in most of the US but it pays to know who does and does not. If you have an old independent shop who fills onsite that's great, but for example most Airgas only fill theirs and the companies they bought from (and blank neck ring owner cylinders in any size, I bought several as government surplus.

Hitting the pin multiple times just mushrooms the bottom of the pin, making it harder to remove even when the knurled part of the pin is clear. When using the tool, tighten the bolt very hard against the pin, then hit the bolt upwards with a hammer (one hit only), then tighten the tool again, repeat. The bolt applies a huge force on the pin, and a further tap with a hammer shocks it.

I swap on purchase as a rule to get current hydro dates. Many LWS are casual about the little cylinders so long as they've no arc marks etc. Blank neck rings are common to milsurp cylinders which of course you can exchange when they need hydro but those tend to disappear on the east coast so you may end up with a marked cylinder in return. NONE of the welding supply rules are actual laws and merely reflect over a century of industry consolidation. Another note is you'll still see ancient Linde cylinders marked with swastikas and that is NOT at all related to the Third Reich but was a mark used before WWII because it was a good luck symbol for thousands of years. They are NOT WWII surplus either. Many are stamped with a square to alter the mark. CO2 cylinders besides being useful for MIG welding are great for seating tire beads (get the correct regulator!) and the usual off-road "power tank" uses.

I see your video, I'm thinking about this kit or 3580 in master kit, I can't decide, I like this one better, but it doesn't have a great extension, what do you think?
@SteveRivett
@SteveRivett 2 ай бұрын
if you work on Imperial/SAE regularly I would consider the 3580, if most of what you work on is Metric then get the 3351. There are nicer extensions available such as wobble extensions so I wouldn't be worried about the ones in the kit.

1. Wrong gasket 2. Change the o ring on the fitting, protruding the back of the cooler block. Its plastic, and they leak. Now, a pro tip, if you're tracking down a pesky oil leak that is around the starter area. Pull your crank sensor above the starter and replace the O ring.
