Indian doctors are considered better than FMGs. By the term 'FMGs,' I am referring to graduates from countries like Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, etc., and not the USA, NZ, or Australia. Students graduated from these countries are often considered incompetent.

1. Not outdated. Content wise Indian Medical syllabus is larger than that of US and UK. Method of study may be outdated . 2. No ,less students write USMLE from those countries you mentioned, hence more pass percentage. 3. Indian medical system itself is cheapest in the world. Because here it is treated as a service sector. But in countries you mentioned it is a private sector under insurance model. That’s why our doctors are paid less. 4. If you have opportunity, skill and will to hard work, you can become a global doctor no matter where you study.

It’s not about opportunities in India or abroad- the most concerning part is quality of education provided by these institutes which are not even accredited in their own countries

It’s a vital truth that the quality of education in these institutions are pathetic, but the quality of medical education in most of the private medical colleges and even in some government medical colleges in India is also poor…(especially in some deemed private universities)…unfortunately only FMGs screened in India..So NEXT exam for all Medical graduates (FMGs and IMGs ) may be a good option.
