Vidai | A Choice or Necessity ?

As per the custom, after the wedding is over and the bride dresses up in her bridal lehenga which includes the holy Mangalsutra and Sindoor. Sometimes, if the Vidaai ceremony takes place after a considerable duration, the bride changes into something comfortable. Maybe a light lehenga or a salwar suit. She can also lessen the amount of jewellery or put on some lighter ones. However, the Mangalsutra, the bridal Chura and Sindoor remain as they are integral parts of a bride's Shingar.

The culture we once admired is now a thing of the past, and we have replaced it with something that is not healthy. We have created a new set of rules and regulations that are not fair or just. its their perspective, let me put mine..i believe westernization of indian society is spreading with an alarming rate. Its a wake up call for everyone , if we really want to preserve our old tradition n sanatan culture..look m not misogynist or orthodox ..i too hate orthodox practices n senseless rituals..but these girls r also not making sense..wr should not promote extremism of anything.. we can have an idea by seeing the filthy lifestye of western people..so be proud on your culture n be bhartiye first..🇮🇳
