Salam Alaikum,
Dear brothers and sisters,
Tawakkul is the beautiful act of placing your complete trust and reliance in Allah's plan. It does not mean to give up, but realize that Allah knows what's best for you, even when you don't. You work hard, strive for your goals, and then surrender the outcome to His will.
Even when you are facing big problems in your life or are in a dire situation, you should not let shaitan weaken your imaan by his whisperings. In fact, these are situations where our imaan is test by Allah(swt). He(swt) loves those who show patience and rely on Him especially during hard times. One thing to note is that Tawakkul does not mean to not do anything and trust Him. It means to put in the effort to do whatever is possible from your side and then leave everything in His hands.
When you have complete trust in Allah(swt), He helps you. A great example is the battle of Uhud. The ones who had complete trust on Allah, emerged victorious. Their imaan was unshakable which did not let them fear the power of their enemy.
We should be grateful to have the Ahulubayt(as)'s teachings. They constantly showed us that Tawakkul is crucial to build a strong relationship with Allah and get closer to Him. No one had tawakkul like the Ahlulbayt(as), and we should get inspired by them. So let us have Tawakkul on Allah irrespective of whatever obstacles we face in life, and bring ourselves closer to Imam Mahdi(atfs).
