I plan on making my own dentures and edentulous. Was so lost on how to find the registration to set up the articulator. This video showed me so much more than I ever considered. Sure better than putting a big ole glob in my mouth and guessing vertical opening. This is GOLD to me.

@@CORYJOHNM You will never get a good esthetic result otherwise. Tell me you know how to process dentures in acrylic? Tell me where you are going to get your denture teeth... How are you going to adjust your own dentures without PIP and acrylic burrs... Doing soft and/or hard relines without having the proper material? Forget about it, building dentures is nothing like working on cars anyway. Are you going to take out your own appendix when you have appendicitis?

It's certainly hard to find materials not being certified or a business. I have an archon articulator and facebow at this point. I could get one of those diy kits off e bay but that just isn't proper for me. And the kidney is not the organ taken out for that ailment.

It’s an arbitrary land mark. What matters is that you use that same landmark to determine your VDO and VDR.

Are you using Alminax wax for CO registartion?

You may use Aluwax but it is more apt to distort than using either of the following. A stiff polyvinylsiloxane, polyether, or compound are more reliable. Compound and Aluwax are less expensive, but require a heat source
