That was very pleasing video to watch. Excellent footage especially when the camera follows the loco on the other track. Very nice work. Can't wait to see Bram's interpretation as well.

I'm sure this is redundant, but this is a real steam locomotive and not just a model. I've have been just barely aware of this "live steam" train hobby in the UK, and you even run American locos. Over here the 611 and X 4449 are known by their wheel arrangements 4-8-4 or Northerns. Also the UP 844 is this class. You have some superb models. I am envious. ;-)

so is the great northern S2 (which is my profile picture)

611 and 844 aren't the same class. Sure they're the same wheelbase. But the 844 class is FEF-3, NW 611 is class J, and SP 4449 is class GS-4.

Hi dear Bram, superb locomotive and great layout! It is a pity that loco is not suitable for my little, industrial and mining layout! Keep safe and cheers Fabrizio

As an American seeing the scale of what we build as a "Large locomotive" compared to British locomotives really puts into perspective the size.

Does the locomotive use the power from the rail to drive its engine or it has its actual engine ?

What a beautiful locomotive!! Do you have a list of materials you used to construct your railroad? Any blueprints or drawings? I am very interested in your design and how long it’s been holding up? Thank you!
