Chris I've seen all of your videos. I feel so sorry for you and what you're going through. It makes me think that I should not do anything if I hear what you're going through. I have a bunch of Gleason 7 cores in the doctors want to start radiation or prostatectomy. But I am delaying. I'm hoping that active surveillance with a very healthy diet and exercise might suppress the cancer. Stop it from growing. Because I know once I start treatment I'll be a customer of the medical profession for life! It terrifies me what I would be going through.

Quite a warrior! I'm on 30 of 33 radiation and Lupron after a rad-prostatectomy and recurring cancer. Clear scans, tumor (s) too small for imaging. I suspect I'll be right behind you as I have zero confidence in the standard of care. I have a similar attitude about advancements in medicine as we go forward. I just hope to live long enough to take advantage of them.

Started TRT at age 47 (2018) with a 1.0 PSA. 2.5 years later my PSA progressed to 5.1. At age 45 my started at a PSA was .50. Had many of the advanced blood tests in 2021that measured my chances of prostate cancer at >50%. Waiting on my biopsy results from 2/23/21. At 49 years old this sucks to say the least. The potential that the removal of the prostate doesn’t guarantee a cure freaks me out. Not sure if I can handle on all this. My twin boys are 8 and my little girl is 5. You are so brave with all your positive updates, I just hope I can have a fraction on your courage. I wish you well.

Hang in there man. It looks like you found it extremely early if it even is cancer. Have the surgery. I highly recommend that because that is the main tumor. Most of the time that is all it takes. Stay positive.

Stay positive Vince. My cancer was diagnosed at age 55 with a PSA of 5.0...me and my Dr. agreed on surgery to get the tumor out. I'm glad I did. I did have positive surgical margins..if I had waited it could have been worse. PSA is starting to go up a little.... probably some microscopic cancer cells left behind...will radiate and treat...keep a positive focus on all of this!! It will all work out.

God bless you Brother! I've been waiting for an update from you and also trying to figure out how to contact you privately. My wife and I head back to MD Anderson next month for my first injection (hormone deprivation). My radiation starts in June. PSA was 0.1 in October. I certainly feel for you and all that you are going through. I am 70. In the fall, during routine psa test I scored 11. After seeing a urologist in early 2021 it was 17. Just tested last week. It is a 34. Right now I am choosing to do nothing. Full bone scan no cancer. No lymph nodes involved Mass has breached the prostate envelope and confirmed with MRI RNB, random needle biopsy shows 15% cancer in two samples only. Gleason score 3 plus 4. Teal group. I have completely ruled out medical castration ( renamed hormone therapy). I was originally sold on the idea of 28 proton beam radiation treatments after 2 months of so called hormone therapy. Then the Oncologist shifted gears on me and said it's actually PHOTON beam radiation. After researching the difference on reputable sites like mayo clinic, I decided that I don't want photon beam since it will surely destroy good cells in places other than the prostate. I am not in denial but I am definitely not ready to act on all this. Would like very much to live another 10 to 15 years, but I am totally ready to go home today. Please keep me in your prayers. I know for SURE they work I am a colon cancer survivor AND a heart attack survivor. God bless BTW. . My urologist said if I do NOTHING I will probably vote in 2 more presidential elections. Eight years sounds good to me.

I am currently on 4 month Lupron shot as well as Erleada ( Apalutamide ), 240mg/day. My Robot assisted Prostatechtomy was on April 28, 2020. 15 weeks after the surgery my PSA jumped to 52, then 67, then 165, all within 30days. That's when I started the Lupron and Erleada. got my PSA down to .20 within 6 months, but now it is climbing again, up to 1.74 two months ago, getting tested again tomorrow. It's been a lot of ups and downs, not sure where it is going from here, but I'm being treated at the Cleveland Clinic so I'm in great hands.

Hi Chris. Love your videos even though it is so hard to talk about this. So sad to learn about your rising PSA. Obviously, there is always a way to beat it. Will be following you until you share your success in winning this disease. (Hope you don't mind me writing so much.) Just like you, I had a prostatectomy and now am going to do my 7-8 weeks of radiation and six months of Lupron. You mentioned that the cancer is now in your lymph nodes and that reminded me to ask you about your prostate pathology report. The cancer in my prostate was only around the bladder-neck area but otherwise looked normal and healthy, and there was no cancer in the few lymph nodes they took out. Have you looked at your pathology report again lately? Also, you might want to talk to a hospital nutritionist or a dietitian about your intestine issues before it gets worst. Best of luck to you and hang in there.

@@dappa311 thanks for asking , went good. Almost 2 years now I think . My psa hovered in the 0.069 range and climbed very slowly. The urologist said it may be worthwhile to get EBRT at some point. He said the operation went very very well and there is no infected tissue or lymph nodes. It was nerve sparing. On pathology, they called it 3+4. There was a 3 mm breach. That appeared to just happened so says the urologist. I said to the urologist, if I am contemplating radiation, why don’t we do it now. The radiation oncologist said, that would be ideal as I was at .13. Therefore, I just completed 20 sessions of external beam radiation. Two weeks ago. I’m not supposed to get a PSA check for about three months but I didn’t want anyway. PSA was down already to 0.070. amazing technology. The radiation oncologist didn’t recommend any hormone or chemotherapy at all. He said my case was very low value for a risk. I hope I’m on the right trail. How are you feeling?

Quickstory about me..at age 71( 6 years ago) I had 44 sessions of radiation for my prostate...Gleason score of 4+3 at the time, but apparently the cancer was only in my prostate...so, one year ago, my PSA began to move up again...during the last year, it moved from 0.10 to 1.62...(!)...So I had the "new" PSMA PET scan, and it turns out that two lymph nodes, slightly away from my essentially dead prostate, have begun to show very small signs of having cancer!...My doctor told me that, six years ago, the imaging likely did not spot a very small "breakout" of cancer, that migrated after a few years, into my two lymph nodes. The new, very improved PSMA PET scan has zeroed in on the problem area...next week I start around 30 more sessions of radiation, which should kill the small area that is going bad. I have chosen to NOT take any Lupron after the radiation...close monitoring after these sessions should be interesting! If more action needs to be taken, THEN I will combine further radiation, with the dreaded Lupron treatments! I am rather upset, that six years ago, I was told that my irradiated prostate was no longer a problem...and the latest scan still says that there is NO cancer in my "dead" prostate...I hope the technology is not lying, this time! I do not blame my doctor, it was just that six years ago, the imaging was not that great, compared to today!

How about hyperthermia treatment.. some ppl used that and it worked. It is said that hyperthermia combined with radiation/chemo worked well; the thing is, hyperthermia provided an extra punch right after treatment typically. HIPEC is used in some cancer patients. Hyperthermia worked in a way that it activates the immune system, it also help the body break up the dead cancer cells for their presentation to the immune system, so that the immune cells thereafter search for any tumours that have spread elsewhere. Amazon sells quite a lot far infrared tourmaline/amethyst heated pad; IMO these can also work as the heat penetrate through the skin on the body substantially YT search - hyperthermia cancer Video that can be informative - 6G8k1vXC-bw and pptRLAcXujE
