Hey Man, I know its been my dream my entire life. Thank you so much for that comment about housed bearings as I think that could solve all. I thought about something like that, but didnt know it existed, so i will have a look for those. Yes suspension would just complicate things on this loco. Yoy are very right about the cooling, as I do believe the engine is having to put up with quite a bit of resistance from the generator, so hot hot hot. I do have 4 suffolk suspension springs though :)

Yes i think ive found the ones on ebay, their are only a few, and they look like exactly what i need. Yes well i really cant see myself adding suspension to this loco, the most likely thing is it will be left as it is, as it works, so im happy about that. its money money money with these locos though
