I'm glad you found the video helpful. The only way to record it is to screen record a participant screen in the meeting. Zoom Clips does allow a version of video beside slides to be recorded.

3:54pm ET Phila, PA m. This man - what is his name, how can I not lose this connection - is the best presenter I have ever found. I struggle with technology. He speaks my language - English - clearly and slow enough so I can hear what he says. He also repeats, which also helps me. I am a new, huge fan and hope I can find him again. I gave to present on zoom tonight and need to know how to share a diagram so I can teach from it. It is not in PowerPoint. Someone else created the diagram and e-mail it to me. I plopped it on my desktop, but still could not figure out how to share it. The zoom settings changed and I never mastered the old, and am more bewildered now. I must persevere. Thank you for serving us. I am so grateful..

I'm glad you found the video helpful. Recording exactly as shared would be nice. If you want to record a video with your camera beside the slides you can consider Zoom Clips.

I can see all what you mentioned when I click on share. However, when I share it, it disappear and I see again the common window of my camera.

It does not record in these new layouts but if you do a screen recording of a participant's screen in a meeting you can get a recording of these new layouts. So you could set up a second laptop as a participant and screen record from that laptop to create a video lesson. More work for sure but it may be what some people would prefer.

@@ThinkOutsideTheSlide Ok. Thanks for the reply. Seems like a bit of a Rube Goldberg solution to a relatively simple problem. Zoom must have some reason for not doing this other than technological hurdles. It doesn't make sense to me.

If you want to just record a lesson, look at the Clips feature in Zoom. It allows you to put your video beside your slides and record them in the app - no meeting required. It is totally useless that we cannot record these layouts.

The only way (at this time) to record these new layouts is to screen record a second computer connected as a participant. More work for sure but at least you can get the layout everyone sees.
