I speak as a lrish mother whos son went to Detroit for a few day ago, when he left a niteclub he was surrounded by 4 black men and atteacked he ran for his life and lucky enough he was fitter then them thank god. But was bruised and very shaken up. He is so glad be back home today an in one piece. There was a passenger by on a bike who found him and litterly helped peter and l am very greatful to that person. What l am saying here is only some of shite he went through

Who was he with and where was this club. There are places the residents of Detroit don’t frequent!! Neighborhood bars and clubs are not the thing. You need to know who you’re hanging with. I know he wasn’t alone, not if he didn’t know the city. Don’t try making it racial. He was an easy target for thugs coming from a club. It happens to Black people too!! It wasn’t because he was Irish or white. He was alone at night, probably had been drinking and looked easy to rob.

Sounds horrible to say but both mother and son met a tragic ending as a consequence of the people they associated with.
