*_I had holidays in the Erzgebirge in 1972 and 1977. It was the time of the DDR. After reunification I returned four more times beginning in 1996 and the last time my German friend took me to see Mödlareuth. I remembered the old days when there was a border and I felt some nostalgia. The political status had changed but the people of Sachsen remained as hospitable as ever. We just got older. Glück auf!_*

Gerade an so einer Nahtstelle wie in diesen kleine Dorf wird sichtbar das es nicht um die Menschen ging sondern um den Machtanspruch der beiden Blöcke nach dem Krieg.
