If there’s buildings there how did people get on there in olden times

A currach can get to the base of the Cliff in good weather, as it floats high on the water. The buildings are the remains of a sixth century monastic settlement, possibly of the local "Saint Kee". Local sheep owners used to bring sheep there until the early part of the 20th century for grazing. One person would climb the cliff, and sheep were hauled up by rope using the standing stone visible in the video.
