i love what you said at 8:03 about why you like kpop when people ask you. so many people completely write it off just because it has a bad reputation due to its more toxic fans, and they'll never understand how much creativity actually goes into these things and how many different artists are constantly collaborating to assemble one complete piece of visual and performance art.

this mv was so crazy, good way to get serious imposter syndrome! Like replicating these is hard enough but whats more impressive to me is how you even go about storyboarding this with a clear vision of what it'll be. Even the more simple shots like the bit where Giselle is shaking her hips and its flipping between front view and back view was so cool 😮 The album has been amazing, been a no skip one for me. If you want to see more wackiness from Aespa, check out their title track MVs for some of the B-sides on this album (Licorice, Long Chat and Live my Life). They are shorter MVs that only contain some of the full song but you get to see some really creative flexes from concept to animation on them too. I think you'll have a lot of fun with those (especially Licorice XD )

Some of the effects including the more trippy ones are fully photorealistic 3D renders of the members instead of camera/editing techniques. I've seen the artists post about it on their socials and it looks crazy.

Pretty sure that the part in 18:06 is 3D modeled. The 3D Artist shared all her models of the girls used in the vid. Most the close ups (so the one with NingNing closing into her face with the cristal eye thing, and this one) are all 3D Models of the girls, they are just so good you can barely tell because all the girls were 3D scanned then rigged, pretty neat!

'armageddon' in the new testament was defined as "the place where the kings of the earth under demonic leadership will wage war on the forces of God at the end of history" (the final battle of good and evil). 'armageddon' was mentioned in the bible only once, in the revelation to john, or the apocalypse of st. john (16:16) where the opening of the first four of seven seals happened. the four seals are the four horsemen called conquest (white), war (red), famine (black), and death (pale). and each member in aespa are wearing colored outfit similar to the color of each horse. this is crazyyy, i'm amazed the way 'armageddon' is very detailed and following a cohesive line. aespa will literally giving us both music and topnotch lore and concept ctto: Britney Sy
