I actually liked Hitchhiker’s MV. Hitchiker’s not exactly a... “mainstream” artist, they’re kind of unusual. The video kind of matches the music they’re doing. I definitely get the brutalism style they’re applying (all the saturated colors, textures, and repeated pieces). So it *is* a little discombobulating for general audience.

SO excited to see you talk about don’t wanna cry. I think it’s one of the most beautiful mvs exactly because it’s minimalism plays so well to the music. It keeps you interested in the video but doesn’t overtake the song you’re listening to. I don’t know if it makes sense but all the colors in it look so good as well!

Oh, it's wild to me that Taeyong's Around feature isn't liked, I had no clue! I think it's super appealing all around, zany and refreshing in a same-same music/editing landscape. I listen to it all the time lol. The music video does remind me of a specific kind of Japanese meme, the one with the computer generated naked men rhythmically dancing, with eagle heads for heads. I'm sure I'm not explaining it well, I don't know what the trend is called

eyy i agree around mv is crazy and really makes the song feel even crazier. the first time i watched (and heard the song) i was immediately turned off by everything- fast forward a month later and i was listening to that song on repeat bc it would drown out any distressing/obsessive thoughts it's still my go to song if i want to empty my brain

There are some though, but the ones that come from really unknown and small company and don't have budget to hire good producers. Also there are some people who consider Kaachi a k-pop group even though they're only inspired by it, but yes they're undeniably bad. Also in my opinion there are more and more groups who debut and sing badly or sing good but have bad songs.
