"I want to write an essay on how the music for a sushi restaurant music video was an allegory for the entertainment industry and how if an artist falls short in their ability instead of giving them space to improve and do better, they’re just destroyed instead." "For all the Harries that are confused as to why this video is so graphic and uncomfortable. It’s supposed to be. That’s how Harry feels in the industry. Like some sensationalized piece of meat that can be cooked and destroyed at any moment." Both very viral tweets during the music videos release!!!

Thank you for this!! I love the way he portrayed this in the video.

going viral doesn't make it true or doesn't speak in Harry's behalf. But they might be right

@@OceanChild7they didn’t mention that the tweets were viral to give them credibility, they just explained that that was where they got the quotes from (i.e viral tweets)

People say this is the worst Harry video because of how uncomfortable it makes them feel. But this one is my favorite. I think it has so much more meaning than just being weird. I absolutely love it

Great reaction! This song and music video is a critique of the music industry. They pamper you and use you when you are useful, and as soon as you are done, they cut you into pieces and serve you as "sushi". They will sell every little piece of you. It is a genius song with an even more fantastic video. ❤ And yes, do adore you. Make sure it is the extended version.😊

It's so fascinating watching someone else watch it from a different perspective, because I had a visceral emotional reaction to seeing it the first time, it made me so sad, to the point that I avoided watching it again for months, and even now only watch it in reaction videos. I rarely "get" music videos, so the idea of finding it hilarious and confusing is so much my normal reaction to "weird" music videos, and to most music videos tbh, so I get that, and yet it's so different to my reaction to this specific video. Like for all those who find the Satellite video sad, I find this like 100x sadder/more heart breaking.

Same, I literally startet to laugh when he said that ‘it is ultimately a very fun video’. I don’t think that’s it’s supposed to be funny and to me it’s just incredibly sad

It shows what exactly music and movie industry is about! As long as you are good and useful, you are in. But when you lose your voice or whatever, you are dead, out....

There is DEEP meaning to this video! I think this video clearly portrays the music industry….milk musicians dry for all you can get from them (and in the meantime treat them to all the glitz and glam to reel them in) and once they can no longer make the big guys money….they’re done with you. You are disposable.

everything that was done for the lead up to the adore you video (extended version) was insane level of genius imho.

It’s just such a creative take on the song, that’s somehow both incredibly literal but also wildly imaginative 👏🏻 If you’re continuing with Harry, I’d suggest doing Adore You next, especially the extended version. It’s once again a case of impeccable and ingenious storytelling from him.

I love these reactions and always find them super interesting. We actually work in recording engineering at a studio at our house and my son is an engineer and we listened to this whole album and watched the videos... the budget involved here has to be nuts. My son mostly works in metal and rock but I like Harry styles so I had him deep dive it and he knows he is a great singer. You can see from Harry's early videos to know the progression of budget in the making of these videos. Yes adore you is also like a whole movie. I like to see what other professionals think about his work. His videos and marketing are next level.

😂 Hi Josh, I'm back to your channel as I liked your comments on 'Satellite'. But your reaction on 'MFASR' was way funnier, I laughed out loud about you being shocked. 😂 Your professional comments are also great and interesting to listen to, though. Wish you good luck and success with your channel. And enjoy more Harry Styles videos, 😂, can't wait! 🎉 from Germany ...

@@Videoeditorreacts “Not expecting it to be the way it was.” I’m approaching 70 and only started listening to Harry Styles in the last year (thanks KZbin). I’d written off One Direction as just a boy band and the members as just boy band members. (Wrong on both counts.) Heck, for the most part, I’ve only ever liked pop music that incorporated more of a rock, blues, or jazz sound-in that, I’ve enjoyed a number of pop songs but hardly ever the albums they were included on. It’s been surprising to me in this short amount of time to encounter many younger people, particularly males who likely did the same (e.g., “My little sister listened to One Direction” and therefore they can’t be/couldn’t have been good, etc.). Not saying that was you, but it’s been enjoyable to watch so many people be as surprised as I was at the talent that is Harry Styles (and Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson-the other two are also talented, but their personal musical taste doesn’t jive with mine most of the time). As someone else mentioned, I’d be particularly interested in your breaking down how Falling was made. It’s a beautiful video and I imagine the making of it had to be challenging.

Love your show! Notice when Harry ( the live show) is entertaining and did ‘The Whale’ spewing water as a blow hole . That’s how Harry usually ends his concerts. It actually has a naughty connotation - look it up in an Urban Dictionary!😂

I thoroughly enjoyed and loved both your reactions. After Adore You can you please do 'Falling' by Harry. Every shot is a masterpiece in the 'Falling' mv and I especially would love to hear your thoughts on the technicalities of each shot like how it was filmed and edited because it seems complex but the end result is so beautiful

Watching Adore You mv followed by MFASR and then Satellite gives a whole kind of personal and professional narrative. Is the can of fish food with the rat outside the diner in Satellite from Gill's restaurant? - the restaurant in MFASR - ref back to the fish food that Harry eats in Adore You 😥 🐟🐙🍣🥫📡🛰
