❣️Jimin’s “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band”, is basically an ever so uplifting, filled with joy & happiness, love song, mainly for army who he references numerous times, like when mentioning “it started on June 12”, which was the actual debut of BTS where they met army for first time during a performance showcase. BTS official debut performance was next day on June 13. Also in the dance, the choreography, including the one for the dance challenge on tiktok, Jimin is even doing in sign language, the hand signs, for LOVE, while dancing, ❤️ 👍🙏🥰☺️

❣It’s Jimin’s voice doing the intro, as the announcer. Also Jimin & Loco sing live, aside from using mics, even wearing ear-ins. The “backup band” consists of legendary, genius producer Pdogg, who worked with BTS since beginning as producer & songwriter, also producers GHSTLOOP and EVAN, all 3 also worked alongside with Jimin, who also wrote the lyrics, composed, & helped produce his first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, as well as for MUSE his 2nd album that will be released July 19 KST, July 18 in other time zones. During the documentary for FACE, there was even a fun quiz segment where all 4 named themselves Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, which at the time, no one had any idea other then it was just for fun! 🙏😅🤣😍

I agree with and appreciate your comment about Jimin's execution of the choreography. Even a less complicated choreo looks good on him because it comes off as so effortless. I would go one step further and say that his movements in general are very graceful and intentional. His posture, stance, are so dancer coded. I enjoyed your comments about the video, too.

❣️I find it absolutely mind boggling amazing all the thought process, effort, work, Jimin put in, (which the behind the scene also confirms), since it seems immediately after “chapter 2” began over a couple of years ago, when all the members started focusing as solos, instead of in the context of the group.Every moment, whatever time he had, Jimin was continually composing all the melodies, writing all the lyrics, coming up with so many ideas & concepts and even the producing aspect of each song for not just FACE, but also MUSE, already way back then! It also explains all those photos & posted comments from all the well known, famous producers, mentioning working alongside Jimin, praising him, as well as excited about projects they were apparently working on way back when Jimin was in LA almost 2 yrs ago. It seems that Jimin was working non stop til late nite even filming content still, right before he made that farewell vlog for us the night before entering the military. Which also explains why he kept his long blonde hair til after filming. Also to show us his shaved head that he could finally have done. Just amazing how he worked non stop (which is also why we didn’t see nor hear from him often) throughout all that time. I wouldn’t even be surprised if, even in the military, he might be still continually thinking about, working on more new content, whenever he has some alone time, aside from all he’s doing in the military. His assignments there are also so amazing and mind boggling as well! 👍❤‍🔥🙏🥰🤩🌟💫✨

I love that he had very simple choreography for this video. I imagine that people who would have never thought they could learn a dance, would probably try this one. A person unfamiliar with BTS and Jimin sure would be shocked to see some of their elaborate dances and what he can do with his body.

✨BTS‘ Jimin revealed the full track list for his upcoming second solo album, MUSE. Jimin’s quite successful first album FACE, still charting worldwide! The seven-song LP due out on July 19 KST (July 18 in other time zones), according to a billboard article, will feature the intro song “Rebirth,” as well as “Interlude : Showtime,” the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” (featuring Loco), “Slow Dance” (featuring Sofia Carson), as well as “Be Mine,” “Who”, (single can now be purchased as presale aside from 2 versions MUSE album), and “Closer Than This” (which dropped in December.) Jimin, 28, wrote six of the songs, according to a release, composed, also finally listed as one of the producers for most of his songs, (though shown in Jimin’s documentary his involvement in producing all his songs), which also noted that the announcement from BIGHIT Music featured a vintage feel via images of old-school cassette tapes representing each song, with an overarching theme of “love” connecting all the tracks. The hip-hop/R&B-leaning focus song, “Who,” was produced by Grammy-nominated singer/producer Jon Bellion, along with Pete Nappi, Tenroc, Pdgogg and GHSTLOOP, with a vibe described as “intense bounce and guitar sound.” In addition, the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” draws inspiration from marching bands, “blending hip-hop elements with the big band sound characterized by a large-scale orchestra, creating an upbeat, lively rhythm and dynamic atmosphere thanks to an assist from South Korean rapper Loco.” Other contributors to the album include Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber), as well as producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP and EVAN, who also worked on Jimin’s first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Jimin’s official solo debut came with the 2018 single “Promise.” Five years later, he became the first South Korean soloist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Like Crazy,” followed by FACE‘s “Set Me Free, Pt. 2” reaching No. 30 on the chart. I agree with you, the choreo isn’t difficult (I think that was intentional, he put out a dance challenge and I think he wanted everyone to be able to try, plus he’s spelling out LOVE with hand gestures at one part) but it’s the way that Jimin does it that makes it amazing to watch. This song and track video (as other commenters mentioned, it’s live) is just so Jimin. Happy, colorful, sweet, loving, joyful and fun. The behind is great to watch as well.

❣️The song, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, also is in reference, an homage to the Beatles, as well as Beatles album Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band, which Jimin used as inspiration, even singing lyrics “I want to hold your hand”! An excellent clue already happened in the vid:❣️ “A Day with Jimin in NYC by vogue, (perhaps you might want to react to it), which was basically a behind the scene, filmed during the time Jimin debuted “Like Crazy” on Jimmy Fallon show last yr. same day his album FACE dropped. It showed Jimin, before going to a dance practice, rehearsing Like Crazy for Fallon tonight show, going to a record store, along with producer Pdogg, who worked along side of Jimin throughout both albums FACE & MUSE. where Jimin pulled out that very record by the Beatles Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club album, even holding it up. It seemed sort of unexpected? Now I wonder if it was planted there? Who knew at the time that it was a reference, a hint for telling just how much of an influence it had toward creating this song & MV. I even recall that Jimin went to the Beatles Store / museum when he was in NY as well. There was even posted photos of his visit there.👍🙏❤️‍🔥🔥😍💫✨

I believe the MV was inspired by the fictional pepperland from the Beatles' sgt pepper album concept because that album was them branching out to a different sound which Jimin is attempting to do with this album

Loco was the first winner of the Korean rap contest called Shiw Me the Money. He is very popular in Korea. He is a lot like Jimin he always got an upbeat, positive attitude. He’s a member of the biggest hip hop label in Korea,called AOMG and he does a lot with another singer rapper named Gray.

Great reaction giving us your explanation of how this could have been filmed and edited. I think Jimin's inspiration was the Beatles Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover. I feel that Jimin, PDogg, Evan and Ghstloop were dressed like the fab four playing the band members. I've also seen several reactors referencing the Willy Wonka look. The behind the scenes shows the actual cool set, and it's indoors. I know nothing about video editing, but my guess is they added all those effects after. I didn't notice lighting changes, but there may have been. Love that Jimin can have such diverse songs and that he doesn't stick to one type, cause it's more interesting and entertaining this way. You never know what you'll get next. Looking forward to Jimin's next album, MUSE, coming out July 19th! Hope you'll react to it!

MMA 2019 BTS Intro: Persona + Boy In Luv + Boy With Luv + Mikrokosmos + Dionysus If you see Dynamite Dance Break on the 2020 MMA stage, I think you will really like it. Be sure to watch the 2018.2019 MMA BTS performance stage as well. BTS' performances at the Jimmy Fallon Show and the James Gordon Show from 2018 to 2021 are also the best.
