Stumbled upon this while showing my wife my old haunts as a teen. Used to go here every few months (didn't drive, waited until my friends could take us and we all went together). The most random import games were there - I found out a few years ago that it was used for years as a showroom/active store house for an arcade machine import company. Kind of sad you didn't go upstairs, they used to have the most random shite up there. That infamous "Dog Walking" arcade machine from Japan was up there for a solid year at one point - but not as long as the F-Zero arcade machine that lived by where the SMX is in this video. In the five years I'd frequent the place, I never saw that thing move. I laugh that even when you uploaded this, they still had their shitty little Guitar Hero machine - three quid a song back in the day...

They used to have a house of the dead 4 machine where the star wars game was in that corner. Kinda heartbroken its gone.

Remember playing Max 300 on expert a lot in that arcade on their DDR machine as a kid. Good times lol

That's awesome! This arcade has had some bangers over the years! So many imports!! It's sad to see them all gone!

@@s34nvideosI haven't been there since 2010 (crazy to think that's 13 years ago...!), so sad to hear the bangers are gone :( is the step maniax machines any good? I've never came across one.

@@TLOU238 yeah, time soon goes quickly! 😆☠️ The SMX machines are okay. I think the biggest problem with them is they are usually set at 1 song for £1, so then so many people are priced out of enjoying it for more than one try.

@@s34nvideos Damn, I seem to remember the guitar hero machines doing a similar thing, being £1 for one song and if you die gg £1...I've alwaysss wanted my own DDR pad at home. I've been tempted by the StepManiaX Stage pads for a while..! I grew up and still play FFR and stepmania on keyboard instead as its more accessible. But hope to take the plunge soon and get back into DDR. My dream is to learn freedome dive on ddr hahaha...

There used to be, but it was all closed up

Nice video but you didn't go upstairs. In the video there was a sign that pointed to stairs and said more games.
@s34nvideos Жыл бұрын
Closed.
@projectzs Жыл бұрын
I remember going up those stairs a decade ago and there was literally nothing up there but a basketball machine and a time crisis/Virtual cop game.

You can literally see the stairs in the video and there is no closed sign lol. Upstairs is where the bowling is.
