@@sebastianriz4703 it does hurt my ears a bit, I can't lie about that, but there's something so nostalgic about that noise that a CRT without that noise feels wrong. Even if it hurts my ears, it's a comforting noise that brings me back to childhood.

I first heard it on the Japanese OST releases from the 80's and 2004.Famicom Music Vol.2, Famicom Anniversary Soundtrack Vol.1 and Zelda The Music. Metroid and the Castlvania games have better sound tracks with the Sound Expansions also. I finally bought a Famicom this year with a couple of games and the Ram Adapter for the FDS. I didn't get the Disk System, instead I bought a device that runs the Game Disk Rom images like a multi cart.

3:40 I like using the original FDS RAM module + the FDS Stick (which replaces the diskette drive) So you are getting 1:1 accuracy, but with none of the hardware and disk errors, load times, or large size. Plus the RAM modules can be purchased for less than $20 and are as dependable as any Famicom cartridge. I use that in conjunction with a RetroUSB AVS and it works great.

Yeah, that was the 1993 Xmas TG16 bundle if I remember correctly, because my brother got his own console after I moved away for a few years. The TurboDuo deal at the time was a damn good one too!

I just remember Neo Geo being super expensive even when it was new. Which probably means it didn't sell very many, so hence the price stays high even all these years later. Nobody I knew ever had one.
