It was interesting to see a snippet of the video game scene near Times Square. I imagined any shops would be ridiculous such as J & L, but Book Off seems to be a nice little hidden gem! I'm sorry that your Eternal Sonata isn't forwards compatible, but still a cool find. Maybe you'll pick up a 360 someday to play it and some of the very good exclusives such as Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. Thanks for the video, and have a nice day!

J and L definitely is how I how I would imagine a video game shop near Times Square to be like. In that sense, I guess it's hard to blame them 100 percent for a lot of their prices; however, with book off just several blocks away and with prices so much better... it's hard to recommend to go anywhere else BUT book off! I hope to get a 360 one day! Definitely still super affordable! I actually own Lost Odyssey! Super excited to play it! Blue dragon is one that I very much would love to pick up! So many 360 experiences I've yet to... well... Experience! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words!! :)

Ah, how nice. I had heard of J and L. They do have an online store as well, which was a bit surprising since I feel like not a lot of retro stores do have online websites. I went to a clearance event at my local game store today and it was a catastrophe. Boxes upon boxes of sports games and kinetic games. Felt like I was a prospector panning out for gold in those boxes. 😅 Nothing crazy, really; Socom was the main finds but since everything was a dollar even anything that was of any worth felt significant.

Oh! I did not know that they had an online store! I'm curious as to whether or not their prices are similar to what they have in their NYC location.... I do feel like most "Clearance" events/sections at game stores do tend to be mostly sports titles, haha; however, I do tend to enjoy golf titles since they are more arcade like, so I'll sometimes pick those up! It gets really tiring searching through those boxes, so most of the time I tend not to, but that's how you miss the gold, haha! I think even sport titles are worth it at a buck a game! Much better than anything you'd get online! Thank you so much for watching! I enjoyed your comment!

Book off looks like a cool store, I don’t think we have them in California

It's definitely a fun store... especially when it is one of the few places like it in the city! I thought there might have been one on the west coast, but I definitely could be wrong! Hopefully you'll have the chance to visit one someday!
