I have a dilemma… I need a car and I really don’t want to lease but I don’t feel good about driving my hooptie anymore now that my kids are gonna start school, and I’m thinking leasing would be better than financing so it would give me more cash flow for…… video games 😎

I love these road trip videos just exploring different stores and having that road trip story added on. There were things that made that Japan trip vlog very interesting pointing out surprising differences in Japan and I think the further you go out of Seattle you may be surprised out how the retro scenes get. Lately I have been watching a bit of this channel called TheNESPusuit which is very much built on hype and personality but at the same time it's tacky I also appreciate it. They went to the middle of nowhere at a flea market and found some rare stuff and edited it like something you would see on TV. Reminded me of American Pickers or whatever that show is called except for video games / nerdy memorabilia.

Dude , loving these road trip game hunts. MJ your channel is quality stuff. I’m 42 and still a kid at heart . You’ve exhibited a good lifestyle. Watching this video & the Portland Road Trip is inspiring, seriously. I am a true Nintendo fan , ALLways was. I had each of their consoles growing up , with only the Atari 2600 as a platform predecessor(Thank You Mom). Obviously the toys r us song faded , and I let adult life pull me so far from this gloriously soothing hobby . I want to thank you . I’m currently revamping my gaming collections. And Next time I head out for a road trip , this new idea you’ve portrayed , could be one of the most wholesome and innocent out of town “hunts” I’ve conspired to endeavor as a “grown up” (:

If I would make one reocmmendation for this type of video it would be to bring someone along with you or try to get comments from local gamers if they are interested in giving a comment about the shop themselves or what they are picking up and why they like the store or how they found it. Having more personalities to go along with it would make it feel like a more complete narrative and I think would spice it up more. Still always look forward to your uploads. I drove from Bellingham to Seattle many times during my game hunting days. But that was when thrift stores were hot! I would hit Value Villages, Goodwills, and mom 'n pops all along I-5. Cool to see you up here in Bham at Reset Games, the bar/arcade next door used to be one of my old haunts pre-covid.
