I liked FE Engage. Technically an anniversary game with all of the returning characters. People that didn't like it were 3 houses fans that were disappointed 🤔 I had no idea at the time that 3 houses was so big that it created it's own fan base that never played an FE game before. Kinda like when Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengance came out in 2024. Most of the mixed reviews came from Persona 5 fans. P5 was so big that it had it's own fan base that was unaware of the general SMT franchise and Persona being a spinoff of that series originally 🥲

@@borrellipatrick that’s what I always felt like with both those franchises, like the social aspect becoming such a massive thing to attract a fanbase that they can’t go back. Except they did and it showed exactly the difference between the two styles and their appeal.
