Can you imagine lol? His entrepreneurship is commendable, but if I was the business owner I'd kick anyone like this out, and would have other stores notified of this behavior or attempting arbitrage at every store, unless the reseller brought other items I could sell or trade for to make it worthwhile. It's nobody's right to come to a store and attempt arbitrage by scanning every item and looking to find hidden value so they can use it for their own business. Selling through hundreds of items to a reseller for 500-1000s in lost potential profit to the public is not worth a quick sale. And If I'm a local customer I'm mad, because guys like this are taking any unique, rare, popular, or difficult to find title out of circulation just so they can make more money for their business.

The store owner is making his own decisions. He has allowed Caleb in, and turned down and countered offers. As Caleb says, this is because of relationships he has built doing this, and because it is a different market. The business owner would not be selling things where he is losing money. Don't know if anyone could still benefit from this advice but.... I think I spotted two(?) copies of Transformers Devastation at around the 6 minute mark during the PS4 section, 3rd row (from top) on the right. If these are at a good price (I can't exactly see what's on the sticker), it might be worth looking at since at the time Activision didn't renew the license of several games including Deadpool and Transformers. Meaning they aren't available for purchase on PSN, Xbox and Steam anymore, and physical copies could be harder to find. So, if someone's around this store I'd suggest taking a look ;) Ps, Phoenix Resale, I do love your take on all this. Starting your collection from the ground up again. bargaining is fine but not when you buy out everything for cheap as fuck and then go and sell it for close to double the price instead of just letting people buy the games for the cheaper price.

On one hand, its dope seeing you score, but the other sucks, because this the reason stores near me, have no inventory on games I need or high priced. The flippers
@johnlennon3094 Жыл бұрын
the flippers are the reason stores like this stay open id rather sell to a flipper than to someone who occasionally wants a game
@yolover111 Жыл бұрын
@@johnlennon3094 and thats why stores like these are closing near me, ebay and flippers changed the game, I used to be able to buy some old games. for cheap, then 2017-2020 it hit. nobody wants to pay ebay prices at store that sells old damn games, good ol capitalism

"Hey I know you have prices on these but I want to pay less because I'm a business genius and like haggling with my friend that owns a small store so *I* can make more money, Again, business genius and great friend. I'll even clean out the good stuff from the inventory before the grand opening so they're left with what I didn't want and then I'll raise the price of an item you sold me for less because you're my friend and you're being filmed. I'm so smart and kind." If he's your friend why not just pay what he asks? He's not your friend he's a business partner. This whole thing comes off as sleazy.
