What style is it? I love it's sister franchise Shin Megami Tensei and those often come with a CD. As much as I love the games, the grinding guitar music that makes up a lot of their soundtracks really doesn't work for me as stand alone music.

Its cool they do different artwork for all these games and damn I didn't know these even came out. U never hear about them hey. So cool you've got these. Ive just never sat down or at home put on a game soundtrack. Ive noticed all the gamers on YT they speak of gaming albums and yeh I've never got into them. Still cool to appreciate them!!!!

Damn, these are all amazing! My favorite video game vinyl that I own is the Parappa the Rapper picture disk. I've had it for about 10 years now, and holy crap has it gone up in value! Some people are nuts, spending $150+ on a vinyl record lol

I have to mention this - in the long run, if you care about your collection, you should remove the shrink wrap...trust me on this. you can put them in sleeves to protect them

The Game Trader store nearest to me, actually had a few of these available, my little brother thought about buying some of them, but we don't have a vary good record player, so he decided to wait on it, that last visit was probably about a month ago now though, so there probably all sold out by now..

But I got no room for a vinyl collection lol I started collecting VG soundtracks such a long time ago I got more than a hundred and I'm starting to run out of space for them so imagine if I had as much vinyl as I have game sountrack . But your collection is awesome, and this may sound strange but you always choose good music as background music for your videos :) For ne it's like a game you need good music that goes with it.

Funny, Sonic Adventure is my nostalgic sonic game. My best friend has it on the GameCube. Blew my mind as a kid. That game means a lot too me. The music gives me goosebumps

I own 2 of the ones you have, Mother 2 and Castlevania SOTN. I only have 1 other, Castlevania by Moonshake records. It's a compilation of Castlevania 1-4. My 2 favorite soundtracks of all time are Castlevania SOTN and Okami (which i have on cd). I know i haven't heard as many as you have. Wish they would put Mother 3 on Vinyl.

Ooof, I feel sorry for those OBI strips on the Data Discs releases getting all ripped up, you should invest in some protective sleeves to keep them in good condition (if you want to of course :) ). Wish I picked up those Sonic Adventure records, also wish I picked up the Street Fighter 2 records years back. You should pick up the Castlevania Rondo of Blood / Dracula X vinyl set some day, it's great!

I recently picked up Celeste, and let me tell you, that soundtrack is amazing! I also found the Cuphead 4LP limited edition brand new out in the wild! It's crazy because that set has been sold out everywhere for a long time now. Next month I should be getting Telltale's The Walking Dead 4LP set. I just ordered that a couple of days ago.

Some of the best video game music of all time right there man! I've got to say, the Streets of Rage 3 soundtrack is up there with 1 & 2 for me. Yes not as good as them two but still really, really good! Highlights include the tracks Dub Slash, Dance Club (guilty pleasure) and the Poets II. Well worth a listen

Vinyl is my preferred music medium too. You just made me realize that out of my 1,300 records, none of them are game soundtracks!!! Wtf! What should be the first one I buy?? I see Mondo has records for one of my favorites: Castlevania Symphony of the Night.

I’m not sure if R-type Leo has a vinyl but you should definitely look into it. paradise planet (area 1 soundtrack) is amazing. that track alone is worth it.

This was an amazing collection of vinyl records for yourself. Do you have every vinyl that was released for data disc because one thing I will admit about their vinyl is they use some very beautiful artwork to flesh out their vinyl. I have a few video game vinyl records but I have to be very selective over what I buy because it has to have a very deep connection to me as a gamer but strangely enough some of the video game vinyl are own are records that you don't own yourself. Regardless, those are some excellent vinyl records for some pretty awesome games and they definitely found a good place in your home.

I have the Altered Beast Soundtrack. I wonder why they based it on the Mega Drive version instead of the arcade? I'm assuming the arcade version would have sounded better. But it's still cool, although it gets me weird looks at work (I put a turntable in my office). I actually don't have a very high opinion of Altered Beast, but I do remember thinking it's graphics and music style was really nice, even if the gameplay was not.

It's fine to put them that way for a short time. Over time they will bowl warp. Liked the video alot. Also the plural form most prefer for vinyl is in fact vinyl. Cool collection I'd like to see more.
