I envy being that age and still having at least one friend to do stuff like this with. As we get older, it's less and less until one day it's zero. Nobody cares for gaming presents anymore. Everyone is jaded, has kids, goes to work, has lost the spark of joy, especially on Christmas. When it's more important that everyone is nicely dressed and the dinner is going as planned, instead of getting kickass games together. Very envious.

I agree with you on that one 💯 none of my friends like retro or even modern gaming the way i do. Probably we need to go more often to those gaming events and get to know each other, make new friends. I know its hard to make new connections as we get older, but i think it’s worth trying 😅

I totally concur with this comment. I’m 47 and hung on to one other lifelong gamer mate for about the last decade (back in the day there were loads of us). He moved away and we gamed online every Friday night. He has an older wife who just retired so now he doesn’t game anymore either as he spends all his time out of work keeping her entertained instead 😂😢

I have to say, there are a lot of these collector channels out there but this one is easily my favorite. Others feel too money focused. This one is about pure joy of gaming/collecting.
