I love the fact that the dress of choice was flight suits. Totally fitting. I'm the son of a former USAF fighter pilot. Every one of those guys is a hero... and no doubt great sticks if they're flying the mighty Eagle!!!!

Watching a video of taps and a angel flight does not do justice.... even if you do not know the fallen hero its gut wrenching and same time soaked in honor, my condolences to this family of a fallen hero.

Dennis, as someone who was part of the ceremony, you're speaking very ignorantly. You clearly are not / have not been in the military. This is an eagle drivers funeral, all fighter pilots were asked to show up in their flight suits, not in a manner of disrespect, but for one final ride with their fallen wingman.

Genuinely wondering why there was more than one flag given. My grandpa just passed and I'd like his daughters to receive a flag as well if possible

Why did the unfold the flag at the beginning?
@strwbrypop6 жыл бұрын
In the case of cremains, rather than a casket, the flag is held over the urn or other container during the service, giving the fallen the honor of being buried under the flag. The flag is unfurled at the service, held by the pall bearers and re-folded after the service.

It's nice that they gave a flag to every daughter I guess rank has its privileges they don't do that for sergeants.
