Isn't this somewhat old technology? In the mid 90s all of my busses had Motorola maxtrax radios. Business band radios were around a lot longer than that and the technology slowly grew with it.

nope, this system has gps tracking and digital frequencies. (meaning longer ranges) maxtrax is analog and no gps capability

@@s.ep30 Seems like they are on either Connect+ or Tier 3 trunked system as well (looking at the fact that the radio id and option board logos are shown). The digital radios will not only provide communications even when cell services are down, they can also work in direct mode if needed, additional security measures can be used as well and as long as the system was built right, it should be very reliable.
