On your x-J-6-6-J deal, what do you think of tossing the sixes since JJ pays the same? You get 3 cards on the draw instead of only 1, and then you can improve to quads (80x), trips (3x), or a new full house (9x). I've read that the long-term cost is 15 cents on a $1 bet, and a FH is attained only 4 times in 47 deals.

Thanks for watching and for the comment. I found the hand and went over it. According to the math the correct call is what I did holding JJ66 is 8.404 while holding the JJ is 7.655. That is one of those hands where I would side with your thought process and have the JJ if I were in the casino playing. Even though the correct call is JJ66. Your thought makes a lot of sense, but I think the odds of hitting the entire house are more significant than the trips or 4ok

@@pokerdegenerate9873 You're saying that money makes a difference, while practicing on a home computer is just for the high-score trophy? I've thought about this before, because maximizing the machine's percentage is only a strategy to not run out of bankroll. I make a calculated assumption that I'd rather have the opportunities for extra quads (and run up a good hot streak) while making sure I brought enough money in the first place. My attempt to maximum EV was completed when I chose that paytable (usually 9/6).
