The Jerusalem Post writes: “Many of the group's underground tunnels, teeming with weapons, may have been reduced to rubble by an act of God. … It is hard to perceive it as mere coincidence that the earth shook on the same day that Hezbollah intended to send Israel into mourning once again. With collapsed tunnels and their arsenals buried, what could have been a devastating assault turned into a day of bewildering relief and gratitude.” What an answer to our prayers according to Zec 8.19!

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Give thanks and praise to God for answering our prayers! ”Thus says the Lord of hosts: The fast of the fourth month and the fast of the fifth and the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth shall be to the house of Judah seasons of joy and gladness and cheerful feasts” (Sak 8.19).
2. Pray that God will lead Israel to love truth and peace - the truth of the Torah and an end to internal strife! "These are the things that you shall do: Speak the truth to one another; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace; … Therefore love truth and peace" (Zech 8.16, 19).
3. Pray that God will continue to turn Israel to Him and His commandments and statutes! “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules” (Ez 36:26-27).
4. Pray for victory for Israel over Islam’s terrorists both in Gaza and Lebanon according to Psalm 83 and Zec 9! "Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek your name, O Lord" (Ps 83.16).
