Very cool! I've never even heard of this before. Do you (personally) use it on ball joints as well, or do you leave those for the more old-school methods (polish, etc)?
@Tef-Tef4 жыл бұрын
on all joints... its pretty darn good... my old school method was the nail polish... but this adds a permanent hard shell coating to the ball joints... since you also need to let it dry also... you canot have a good idea if you've put too much of it until it's too late... making the ball joint usually Harder to move than what it should... sure the joint is tight, but most of the time it's a bit too tight and put stress on the joint's plastic. and since it's permanent... kinda hard to remove it and start again. I did broke at least one figure I do remember because of this (movie Terradrive) too much polish on the hip ball joints... then the joints were too tight, and they snapped at the connector :(

Finally I don't have to use nail polish anymore. Whenever this becomes more available I'm definitely going to purchase some. My Beast Machines Tankor can barely stand his joints are so loose.

I used kiki on a lot of my beast wars and they are great now... the joints are nice tight and a bit squeaky... not much in a bad way but a satisfying tight plastic squeek lol :D

Would you say nail polish is a good substitute

@@Tef-Tef sorry to hear this but as a viewer I would like to hear your negative reviews also. It could help someone like me save money on a poor figure. Just think about it. Thank you for all your videos.

Does it help with loose ratchet joints?
@Tef-Tef3 жыл бұрын
Yes it does.... but Ratchet joints are super easy to fix by simply opening the joint up, and place like few layers of paper under the spring to make the spring tighter... but if you cannot open the join and access to its mechanism; the spring... then yes kiki will do the job :)

Once dry is the white still visible? Does it leave any trace behind? I was thinking to use it on some loose ball joints
@Tef-Tef4 жыл бұрын
it does work on ball joints... depending on how much you apply, it may create residues, specially if you use a bit much, but it's not white, it becomes transparent as it dries... for ball joints it sorta leaves a king of tiny film peeled off... but it definitely does the job of making the joint MUCH better.
@falcedacciaio4 жыл бұрын
@@Tef-Tef well the joint is white and also it shouldn't be visible since i'd use this product on the inside. Thank you for the reply

Or ... you could just use pledge future.
@Tef-Tef4 жыл бұрын
I tried all those... they dont work as good as this.
@xfunnyman310x4 жыл бұрын
Pledge is not a permanent or long term solution. You need to keep applying it overtime. This is more of a long term solution. And why not try this out if they both cost the same
@TheLukemcdaniel4 жыл бұрын
@@xfunnyman310x They don't cost nearly the same. I got a large half gallon bottle of pledge for less than $4 at Wallmart. This is ~ $11 for 30 ml. This is -far- more expensive. I also already have that bottle of pledge from modelling, and don't use but a small amount of it when I pull it out. I'm not sure who lied to you and said they were the same price.

Floor polish flakes off. I’ve used Krazy glue to add tolerances and even to joints that you can’t disconnect, while moving the joint for 5-10 minutes so it doesn’t set. Sometimes even after doing that it’ll lock up from a small amount of undried glue, but nothing a hobby knife hasn’t fixed, for me. I’ve applied Krazy glue liquid to 30 transformers even my 3A Ultra Magnus hip joints. No regrets!
