This is my favorite looking iron man suit. The white just goes so well with the black and gold and really goes with the space theme. I like the all gold helmet because it has a very unique design apart from the rest of the armors.

When ever I look at this suit I can't help but think of Jarvis specifically, he's just the first one to come to mind since this Iron Man suit just seems to fit his personality in some ways to me. I look at this suit and just have the thought of "that suit is Jarvis" and I have no real idea why, especially since I picture the color blue when I think of Jarvis yet I see no blue on this suit. It just somehow screams Jarvis when I look at it. Either way, I love it and I am definitely picking one up when I have the chance, great review.

A cool idea for the wrist guard idea, could be that the wrist guards move, but they're sring loaded, making them move back to place when moving the hands

fuehrer hundert You really can't compare something that is mass released to this. It's fairly pointless to sit and compare things when they aren't really equal. One might say that driving a Lexus is better than driving a Ford. Or people will compare NECA figures to Hot Toys. Again, it's not a fair comparison. This figures also are imported, which increases the price point a bit. They also have to pay a lot higher of licensing rights to acquire things. Halo, i would guess doesn't require duel licensing sort of rights. By that, i mean they don't need to pay the person they're recreating AND the company that holds the rights to the character. They are two different things. For example on this, Hot Toys would need to pay both Robert Downy Jr AND Marvel. Halo, they only have to pay for the character since they're video games and not real people. All these things add up. You really have to look deeper into things to determine the price of things. Not only that, but companies NEED to make profit on things. So they will be higher obviously because of that as well. When you take all that into consideration, plus the fact they make far fewer of these figures, prices add up

Basically those who haven't had the opportunity to create things like this or have had stuff like this bought for them and suddenly find themselves able to buy these things for themselves won't understand this concept unless it's explicitly and deliberately shown to them in itemized fashion (even then they'll refuse to understand because they're not interested in all that). That said, $270 is less expensive than I expected it to be. I thought maybe at least $500-$700. I might actually get one. :) Or maybe the Hulkbuster one from MtA:AoU.

Black colored parts..... technically it’s a Panel of carbon fiber for a more aerodynamic and it makes the suit about 34% lighter than it normally is with the normal metal compounds.

They are on the side of my actual hall of armor setup. I never bought the foam hall of armor for em. I don't really feel those are worth picking up. Maybe if i got them for free i'd use em lol but i have no interest in actually spending my money on those things.

Although I don't think an Iron Man suit, even the Starboost one, would actually be fit for space. Honestly, not much would beat an actual real life spacesuit when it comes to spacewalks and such. That kind of thing probably would happen in like Avengers 3 or something though

This is pretty damn cool, but it isn't 270 dollars cool. I don't understand why this and other Hot Toys figures are so damn expensive. The Halo Reach action figures, although a smaller scale, were similarly articulated, detailed, and accessorized and were 20 bucks at most. I don't see how up scaling that same amount of quality makes it worth upwards of 100 dollars, much less 200.
